Parents Night Out
Calling all parents. Drop your kids for a fun opportunity for you and your kids! While you enjoy a night on the town, small scientists will enjoy hours of fun-filled activities. Open to children ages 4 -12, the evening includes hands-on science experiments, a science-related craft, exploration of the Science Center, and its current exhibit Mazes, a pizza dinner and a full dome planetarium show! September is Extreme Engineering. Create a spaghetti bridge, construct a roller coaster and build a boat that jets over water. Hungry Bear Feeding South Florida Event
Feeding South Florida™, the Feeding America™ food bank with the largest service area in the state, is partnering with The Shops at Boca Center to host the Hungry Bear Feeding South Florida event, featuring a concert by local preteen classic rock band KRUSH. The event is an initiative of Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month, a nationwide campaign to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger. Feeding South Florida serves Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Takes place At The Shops at Boca Center.

Inaugural Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event
This free event will present more than 600 of Palm Beach County's adoptable dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, birds, and furry companion animals available at discounted adoption fees. The event is a collaborative effort between local animal rescues in an effort to save lives. To date, there are more than 28 local animal rescue organizations participating in this exciting event with the combined goal to find 300 animals their forever homes. Takes place at the the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.
